Position

Our client is a technology company with a worldwide reach. They are seeking an energetic and outgoing technical pre-sales professional to join their team in Birmingham as the junior member. Requires a 4-year degree in business or computer science along with 3-5 years experience in Document Imaging, ECM, Imaging Solutions or other equivalent areas. Business and Technical Sales experience are a big plus. Must be willing to travel 30-50%.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Sales department with event support
Provide Customer Service staff by transitioning pre-sales technical requirements into implementation requirements
Provide RFP/RFI technical responses, customer site visits, and individual account related communications
Develop detailed case study materials to be used by the company, partners and resellers
Develop, provide and maintain needed sales tools, spreadsheets, handouts and technical documents
Coordinate the Sales departments Knowledge Repository of all possible materials
Provide Technical/Demo day preparation
Work as a team player with individuals from multiple departments
Assist the Engineering staff with technical input for product enhancements, fixes, or new product development
Assist Reseller Program with technical material and possible teaching
Keep abreast of industry standards

Excellent verbal, presentation and communication skills
Demonstrated tenacity and willingness to work and learn
Proficient knowledge in the following areas:
- Current Microsoft Windows OS
- Access and SQL
- Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Access)
- Past Programming and Imaging platform experience desirable
